Bible School

One of our guests last year told me at one point that, the way he sees our ministry, it seems like we're always working and he was right, because every healthy ministry needs to keep on moving, needs to keep growing and keep itself active for Christ and for the people.

We started this year in full force, this mission field always has new challenges and new opportunities for the Gospel. As you probably already know, we have finished with every paper and everything that was necessary for the minibus and in the village of Muheriwa we have people drilling the water well.

The minibus is a necessity for the work with the pastors and for the visitors we are having every year and the water well is an important need for the people in Muheriwa.

Starting with today, though, we have another project we are working at and this project will fulfill an big need here in Malawi, and that is for equipped Christians who know how to rightly divide the Word of God. People die due to lack of knowledge here and many Christians and even church leaders don't even have a basic understanding of the Word of God.

Hope for the Future's ministry has always had the vision of equipping workers and then sending them off to the mission field. The missionary is one but if he can be a part of training 10, 100 or 1000 disciples of Christ, then his work will be that much more effective.

My vision and the vision of Hope for the Future's team is to seek, train and send 100 men in 100 villages in Malawi. They will take the Gospel, the Good News from God, and will start Bible clubs, youth ministries, Christian choirs and churches. One way or another, through this Bible School we will reach more people that we've ever reached.

This building will also serve a secondary purpose, as it will have enough dormitories to house our guests in the future. We believe in the partnerships we have already and we trust the Lord for more Brothers and Sister to come and serve with us here in Malawi.

The plans for this Bible School were put together last year, while the vision has been there for a much longer time. Last year we've also started preparing the land but the work itself is starting today, with the excavation and then the footing and the foundation. In the month of April we will have a team from the US that will finish the structure.

The total estimated costs for this ministry is approximately $15,000, money we don't have yet, but money we know God will provide. Throughout the years we've seen numerous times how God provided every single time we were doing His will, and this time we also know it will be the same.

We all know that God doesn't send money straight from the skies, although He could definitely do that also. Most of the times, He has chosen to work through people, through His children that have given themselves to Him. We trust that this time He will work the same. Although we only have around $1,500 for this project, we have already started preparing the land and digging the foundation.

If reading this article you feel God wants you to also be a part of this ministry, we want you to know that any amount of money is important and necessary. The Lord Jesus sent us to go and preach the Gospel, but His Great Commandment does not end there; it is also in our duty to disciple the ones that are saved and to teach them to follow everything He has commanded us. The Bible Schoo in Malawi comes to fulfill this important part of the ministry and that is why we desperately need your prayers and financial support.

May God bless you and reward you!
