Bible School

Between April 27 and May 9 we have, here at the mission house in Malawi, a team of workers from the US who came to build the building for the future Hope for the Future Bible School.

The construction team is formed of 5 men and they came from Jackson, Georgia with a single purpose: to serve the Lord by building these walls. Before they came, we made sure all the paperwork is in order, we prepared the terrain and dug and poured the foundation.

Although people build with brick here in Malawi, the construction team wanted to be efficient and build with cement blocks. One of these blocks takes the place of 8 bricks so the work goes a lot faster.

The men started to work on the very next day after arrival, although I know they were still tired and affected by the jet lag. Some of them have travelled the entire globe, building churches, Bible Schools or mission houses for many missionaries. They love what they are doing and I believe this is the gift God gave them, gift that is definitely very useful for many ministries around the world.

Our American Brothers work hard every day, except on Sundays when we go to church. At the end of every work day we can see the progress and we thus praise the Lord for everything they can accomplish. Be in prayer for them; pray for strength and for good weather. Pray that God will continue to pour His blessings upon all of us.

Hope for the Future Bible School in Malawi is the vision that the Lord put on my heart to reach this country for Christ. We want to see 100 pastors being sent in 100 villages, reaching many people with the Gospel. They will take the Good News to villages where it was never taken before or where it was diluted or corrupted.
